Well, it definitely looks like Israel cannot depend on Europe to stand with her in seasons of war and terrorism. In the recent celebrations of Israel’s 60th birthday as a nation, heads of state and prime ministers from Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and the USA came streaming into the Land to honor this important day for the Jewish state.

But very conspicuously, France, Italy, Greece, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Germany sent no one to help Israel celebrate or even acknowledge this celebration. I am sure this was not an organized boycott, but it does speak volumes.  Europe is not standing with Israel… in good times or in bad.
