I rediscovered this beautiful autumnal photo of a painting in my blog archives this morning. I don’t know who the painter is to credit, sadly. He/She deserves credit. What a slice of the glow of fall.
We don’t get much autumn in Texas. The leaves are just turning, and we have a couple of varieties that stand the test during this time of year: the Bradford pear and the red oak. I have a gorgeous red oak in my backyard, and it is still green, green, green. But the Bradford pears are beginning to change and bringing the most glorious sights.
Fall and winter are seasons to light the imagination and let the fuse burn oh so slowly until spring…
I love to dream…
