Since our daughter is 19 now and no longer the little girl that used to sneak around the house to spy Christmas presents, we stuff our stockings early–way before Christmas Eve. They are already stuffed with goodies.
Actually, it means everyone of us must use self control not to peak.
It’s hardest for me. I have found that Santa aka Wayne, Jr. stuffs the best presents in the stocking. I have learned not to despise small boxes!
My stocking is the purple one, second to the right. I wonder what’s in it?

This pic made me laugh….I’ve noticed stockings being filled already around here, too, mainly by my grown kids. In years past this was a Christmas Eve chore done primarily by yours truly (especially since Momma died). Their Aunt Donna has sternly warned my three to “include Mom” this year or else (Santa left me out accidently one year)! As a result my stocking is almost overflowing! lol
We have stockings for the grandchildren that are hung. There is something so warm and cozy about stockings hanging over a fireplace.
