All we need in life is a kite, sturdy string, windy day, and someone who is patient enough to teach us to fly it. Not just show us how to sustain it in the air, but also who will root us on with goodwill — that friend, parent or mentor standing in the whipping wind yelling, “Let it fly, let it fly, let it go -– higher, higher, higher.” The act of wildly cheering others on as champions in the smallest endeavors of life lifts us to reach the unseen, yet felt in that moment, potential of greatness.
Thank you for so faithfully cheering me on!! From Russia with love, your hubby.
