This Death Tree

Death Tree

This death tree is rooted

on the banks of the Crystal River

and will forever flourish there.

It’s leaves are unseen

as they busy about in the

nations — healing hearts,

building bridges,

salving wounds, succoring

the savage, binding bruises,

releasing the captive,

proclaiming Good News,

stripping the thorny rose —

now fragrant of morning dew.

“The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations” (Revelation 22:2).

A beatiful message. Poetic and thought provoking.
