Last evening, we drove to the port city of Limassol and celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday. We had Lebanese food and then on to Starbuck’s and a walk on the beach.
Songs of joy and birthday tunes…
Here’s her buddies.
As a mother, it is very bittersweet to have a child turn 21. I have a flood of emotions. I am so grateful for the peace of knowing at this moment in time my daughter is in the center of God’s will and enjoying the discovery of all that He has in the future. And I am so grateful for all the wonderful companions with whom she has to enjoy the journey.
I never dreamed when she was just a baby that we would spend her 21st birthday in Cyprus. I wonder where 31 will be?
What a great gift/joy it is to know that our children walk with the Lord … whatever their age.
I need to get caught up!! I love all of the pictures! (Starbuck’s- that cracks me up. 🙂
