Ten Things of Wonder: Poem IX
Tangled
I won’t worry
that fall and winter
are all tangled and
gnarled together in
February. The seasons
will sort it out by
spring when the old will
finally let go,
making way for new
leaf. Then the trees will
prance in the Easter parade,
sporting thousands of
tiny, tender green hats and
gaining approving nods from
forest fashionistas everywhere.
