Mountains and More…

We are continuing our road trip. We spent the last eight days in Redding, California at a marriage seminar. It was impacting and refreshing. Today we packed up the car and drove to Reno through the Sierra Nevada Mountain range.

Destiny in Bloom

The wind broken lives of Ethiopia’s Jews move my heart in compassion. Destiny in Bloom, a women’s online magazine, published an article of mine about these precious people last week.  Find it here.

Desert Dreams

If you know me, then you are aware that I LOVE the desert. Its beauty is singular and magnetic from the heat, sand, lizards, muted colors, and prickles. I am captivated by the creativity and unusual life I find here. I can’t get enough. My husband and I are on a road trip making a…

Praise… Why Do I Withhold it?

Syndicated advice columnist, Ann Landers offered guidance for free to Americans for many years. Symbol of Love

My beloved is to me a pouch of myrrh which lies all night between my breasts. –Song of Songs 1:13 A few years ago, I wept through a message, delivered at my home church, by Gary Wiens on the above Scripture. I am still moved to tears when I remember his beautiful, life-giving words about the love between the…
